This newly built villa, one of five on a private complex, is located on the edge of the little fishing village of Ampelas in northeast Paros. The design merges modern architectural detail with traditional white Cycladic style. The property looks out to the Aegean and the island of Naxos. It’s just a short drive to the whitewashed harbour village of Naoussa where there are some great seafood restaurants. For larger groups, this villa could be rented with Villa Gamma.
Predominantly white interiors give a feeling of calm, cool, light spaces enlivened with accents of colour in soft furnishings. Eight bedrooms sleep 16 guests across three floors. The first-floor master suite has a private balcony with sea views. A further seven bedrooms are spread across the ground and lower ground floor, some with direct pool access or outdoor terraces. The airy living room has doors opening out to the terrace and the kitchen well is equipped and has a dining table and chairs.
Great care has gone into the outside space. The large terraces have covered luxurious lounge areas, a large dining table for 16, plump floor cushions, an outdoor bar, kitchen and barbecue and plenty of sun loungers. Central to the terrace is an inviting turquoise infinity pool with ambient night lighting. The sunsets here can be wonderful.
